Story Modules

Each Story Module consists of:

  • A summary of the story.
  • The story (sometimes stored in a separate file).
  • Guidlines for philosophical discussion. Philosophical points, topics, ideas.
  • Warm-up questions help see who's read and understood the story; and get the kids settled down & focused. These generally have right and wrong answers.
  • Questions for philosophical discussion. Discussion-sparking, no "right" answers. These get kids thinking, and help guide the discussion.
Some Story Modules contain extra materials such as hints, exercises, etc.

Also available are the stories by themselves, for children's and parents' convenience.

Supplemental Materials

Some of these materials are mentioned in some of the Story and Book Modules.

Book Modules

These don't contain stories: you'll need to get the children's book.

Some book modules by Leo Heska and/or other authors. All Book Modules credited to original authors and sources inside the book modules themselves (at the end/bottom of the Book Module). The vast majority of Book Modules come from www.teachingchildrenphilosophy.org and are used and republished under the Creative Commons Attribution-Non Commercial-Share Alike 3.0 Unported license.
